QU94010 Metric Axle Pivot Bolt for 1980-1997 Ford Twin Traction Beam Front Axles is a 14mm x 80mm x 2.0 Class 10.9 Flanged Hex Head Bolt that replaces your original axle pivot bolt on 1980-1996 F150/Bronco and 1980-1997 Ford F250/F350 4x4 trucks with Dana 44IFS or Dana 50IFS Twin Traction Beam Front Axles. QU94010 is made with the same head design, thread pitch, and strength rating of your original pivot bolts. Sold individually.

Tech Note 1: Apply Anti-Seize and Threadlocker
Apply Anti-Seize to the Shank and Threaded portion of the Bolt that will be inside the Bushing, but Do Not apply S9975 Anti-Seize to the bolt threads that will engage the nut. Apply 242 medium strength S9978 Threadlocker to the nut threads before installation.

Tech Note 2: Wait to Torque
Do not torque the axle beam pivot bolt until the truck weight is fully on the axle. If you torque it down with the axle beam hanging, excessive twist will be put on the rubber bushing when the weight is back on the axle, which will shorten the life of the part. Hang a note on the steering wheel to remind you to do this before the vehicle is driven!
