QU50638 23 Spline NP241DLD, NP241DHD Transfer Case Input Shaft for 1994-1999 Dodge Gas V8 and Manual Transmission Ram 2500, Ram 3500 Use with QU50874 Narrow (5/8" Thick) Input Bearing. This replacement part fits both narrow and wide tooth planetary assemblies in many 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 New Process NP241DLD or NP241DHD Transfer Cases in 4x4 trucks with gas V8 engines and manual transmissions. Tech Note 1: Not Originally Used with Automatics 
Dodge did not use a 23 spline, long input shaft input shaft with narrow bearing (5/8") for any 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 4x4s with automatic transmissions. However, QU50638 + QU50874 Narrrow Bearing will functionally interchange with 23 spline, wide bearing (15/16"), 5-3/64" input shafts QU50637 and QU51201. 

Tech Note 2: Assembly Numbers
QU50638 23 spline Input Shaft was used on these 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 2500, Ram 3500 NP241 transfer case assembly numbers: 52105091, 52105335, 52105513, 52105023, 52105026, and 52105368.

Tech Note 3: Bearing Bore 
The Bearing Bore for the Input to Mainshaft Pilot Bearing is 1-5/8". For Dodge Ram NP241 applications, order EITHER X10000 Mainshaft Front Pilot Bearing + QU50083 Cup Plug OR QU50114 One piece Unitized Input Needle Bearing.
