QU50114 1 Piece Transfer Case Mainshaft Front Pilot Bearing and Cup is an original equipment, unitized drawn cup bearing that replaces X10000 Bearing and QU50083 Sealing Plug in many New Process chain drive transfer cases. The one-piece design of this bearing simplifies installation. This Bearing fits in the back of the input shaft to support the front of the mainshaft (rear output shaft). USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Interchangeable Bearing Options
Some transfer cases will have QU50083 Cup Type Plug and X10000 bearing and some will have this QU50114 one piece bearing and cup. The one piece design of QU50114 simplifies installation but it is more expensive than the combined cost of QU50083 and X10000. Both types were used in original equipment applications and are fully and functionally interchangeable.

Tech Note 2: Installation
First, clean the inside of the input shaft bearing bore. Next, to minimize the chance of any oil seepage, apply a light film of S64000 Sleeve Retaining Compound to the bearing bore and outside diameter of the bearing shell. Install QU50114 Bearing to flush with, or just below the lead-in chamfer of the input shaft. Wipe off any excess Sleeve Retainer.
