Dan The Gear Man® Tech Note TK4204
Metric Pivot Bolt Kit for Ford IFS Front Axles
1980-1996 Ford Dana 44IFS and 1980-1997 Dana 50IFS Twin Traction Beam® 4x4 Front Axles use high-strength, hardened, Metric hardware to attach the inboard end of each axle beam to it's frame bracket. .
TK4204 IFS Axle Beam Pivot Bolt Kit includes 1 each of the following:
QU94010 14mm Class 10.9 Hex Flange Head Bolt
QU98013 14mm Class 10 Flat Washer
QU92005 14mm Class 10 Prevailing Torque Lock Nut
S9978 Medium Strength Blue Theadlocker
S9975 Anti-Seize Compound
Tech Note: Do not tighten the pivot bolt/nut until the full weight of the truck is on the tires. This will prevent excessive twist to the IFS pivot bushing insulator.
