Tech Note 1: U-Joint
QU20247 Pinion Yoke accepts external snap ring universal joints made to Spicer 1350 series specifications with 1-3/8" diameter cups and an overall width of 3-5/8". Use with TK40719 or QU40731 universal joints.

Tech Note 2: Seal
1999-2005 Ford Dana 50 Pinion Yokes do not have a metal slinger to protect the seal, instead QU40405 Outer Wiper V-Seal is used.

Tech Note 3: When Replacing
When replacing your pinion yoke, you should, as a minimum, replace the 2 pinion seals, crush sleeve, and pinion nut.

Tech Note 4: Lubricate
To provide initial lubrication for the seal, put a film of clean grease on both the pinion yoke hub and seal lips.
