QU50594 10-1/2" Ford Rear Differential Bearing and Seal Kit for 1999-2005 Ford Excursions and 1999-2007.5 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F350 trucks with Ford Sterling 10-1/2" rear full floating axles. QU50594 features first class Timken® Differential and Pinion Bearings, plus Pinion Seal, Pinion Nut, Crush Sleeve, Gear Marking Compound, Threadlocker, and RTV Sealant. Use this Kit for trucks built prior to December 12, 2006.

Tech Note 1: Verify Pinion Bearing
2008 and newer 10-1/2" rear axles use a different inner pinion bearing. Some sources list 2007 to have the early bearing, other list the late. From what I have seen, most, but not all 2007 model year axles have the later bearing, but since Ford part number lookup is now based on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), we need the VIN to verify which bearing set you need. So if you have a 2007, contact us with your VIN before ordering so we can tell you if this QU50594 Kit or the later QU50881 is correct for your truck.

Tech Note 2: Shims
If you are just doing a re-bearing job, it is unlikely you will need to change the pinion depth with a different thickness shim. The same is usually true for the diff shims as long as they are in good shape and you do not crack one when you go to reinstall it (They are quite easy to wreck). We do have some of the OEM thick, cast shims (really a spacer), but you need to know the exact thickness you need before ordering unless you want to spend a couple of hundred plus on a spacer kit. The alternative is to use a "build-a-shim" shim kit like our QU50788 which allow you to stack thinner shims to get the desired thickness.
