Tech Note 1: Important
It will take A LOT of force to initiate the compression of this spacer. Once it starts to collapse, the required torque will be reduced, but still high. You must tighten the pinion nut until all end-play is gone and you have reached the desired rotating preload. From too loose to too tight can take just a fraction of a turn! If you go over the maximum turning preload, you have to start over with a new QU20000. Never loosen the nut to get back to the desired setting!!!!!!

Tech Note 2: Pinion Nut
Always replace the pinion nut when changing the spacer. For 10.25" and 10.5" rear axles, see QU20002. For 9" Rear Axles see QU20005.
