Tech Note 1: Axle Model
We stock Spicer High-Performance Reuseable gaskets for many applications. Below is a list of both the standard and High Performance gasket numbers for popular axles:

Tech Note 2: For Full Float 14 Bolt
QU42036 only fits 14 Bolt 10-1/2" Full Floating Rear Axles in GM Trucks and Vans. These axles were built by GM from 1973-1994 and American Axle (AAM) 1994-current. QU42036 does NOT fit GM/AAM 9.5" or 11.5" rear axles in GM trucks or AAM 10.5" rear axles in Dodge Ram.

Tech Note 3: RTV Sealant
GM and AAM Rear Differential Covers are designed to be used with cut gaskets instead of RTV sealant.

Tech Note 4: Gasket Feature
QU42036 GM 14 Bolt Reusable Gaskets are manufactured by Dana-Spicer. These excellent gaskets feature a woven steel core, non-asbestos facing, and are coated with Teflon® so the gasket does not stick to your axle housing or cover. Do NOT use RTV sealant with these reusable gaskets!
