Tech Note 1: To Install
QU30109 gets installed over the spindle next to but outboard of QU30111 Nut and QU30110 Key. The hooked end must be engaged in the spindle key slot.
Tech Note 2: Reusable
QU30109 Hub Adjuster Nut Retaining Ring is reusable IF it is in good condition. Replace any Ring that is stretched, bent or otherwise damaged.
