QU40755 1310 Greaseable CV Centering Yoke

QU40755 Greaseable CV Centering Yoke is used on many late 1960's to early 1990's, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, and Jeep 4x4s with Spicer type 1310 series greaseable Double-Cardan Front Constant Velocity driveshafts.

The matching universal joints are QU40784 greasable and TK40720 non-greasable. If needed, order QU40341 for the steel deflector ring on the Ball Stud Tube Yoke that protects the CV centering assembly. The matching center yoke is QU40801.

Tech Note 2: Matching U-Joints
This yoke is drilled and tapped for 5/16" SAE bolts. QU40755 is made to accept universal joints made to Spicer 1310 series specifications. Your u-joint cup size should be 1-1/16" and the width of the universal joint should be 3-7/32". The matching universal joints are QU40784 greasable and TK40720 non-greasable.

Tech Note 3: Grease
This Centering Yoke can be greased with the driveshaft out of the vehicle using a needle adapter such as our QTA9405. Due to space restrictions, it is often difficult to grease the Centering Yoke when the driveshaft is installed in the vehicle.

Tech Note 4: Inspect
The 1/2" diameter stud that this Centering Yoke rides on MUST be in good condition. You must replace the Ball Stud Tube Yoke welded to your driveshaft if the stud is worn, grooved or otherwise chewed.
