TKA2122 Torque King® Premium Quality Basic Bearing and Seal Kit for 1999-2004 Ford NV271F and NV273F Transfer Cases in Ford Excursion and Super Duty® F250, F350, F450, F550 4x4 trucks. These Kits are perfect to refresh an aging but still basically sound transfer case that is starting to show a little bearing and seal wear. Our Basic Bearing and Seal Kits include all the original equipment quality Input/Output Shaft Bearings and Seals needed for the Ford New Process/New Venture NV271F Transfer Case but no shift shaft seals/bearings, O-Rings, or other Small Parts. Ball Bearings Made in Japan, Seals and other Bearings Made in U.S.A. or Mexico.

Tech Note 2: Gasket
TK20255 transmission to transfer case gasket was used on automatic transmission equipped Excursions and 1999-2004 Super Duty® models and it is included in TKA2122 Kits for 1999-2004 models. TKA2125 does not include a transmission to transfer case gasket because Ford did use not a gasket between the transmission and transfer case on 2005-2007 Super Duty® trucks because the space between the two units is dry unless there is a seal failure, but you can order TK20255 as an optional part if you wish to use a gasket on your later model truck.

Tech Note 4: New Venture/New Process/Magna
When Ford (1999 models) and Dodge (2003 models) first used NV271 and NV273 transfer cases, New Process Gear (NPG) of East Syracuse N.Y was part of New Venture Gear (NVG). When NVG dissolved, NPG continued on under Chyrsler. Chyrsler subsequently sold the production rights to Magna, a Canadian automotive parts company. All these name changes are confusing, but the important thing to know is a specific assembly number for any 271F, 271D, 273D, and 273F transfer case is the same and uses the same replacement parts, regardless if it was built by New Venture, New Process, or Magna.
