TK11254 Dynatrac CR60-3X1104-J Free-Spin™ Kit with Dynaloc™ Hubs for 2010-2011 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 fits 2010-2011 AAM 9-1/4" Front Drive Axles in Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 trucks with single rear wheels. TK11297 Kit includes the conversion parts and super-strong fuel-saving Dynaloc™ 35 spline lockout hubs to upgrade your heavy-duty Ram 4x4's front axle. Each Kit includes a complete, USA made Dynatrac Front Free-Spin™ Hub Kit with heat-treated chromoly spindles, spindle bearings, spindle seals, Timken® wheel bearings, Timken® or Dana wheel seals, 35-spline 1.50-inch chromoly outer shafts, 8 bolt wheel hubs, Dynaloc™ Hub Locks, double spindle nut kit, and instructions. Tech Note 1: Serviceable Wheel Bearings 
For the 1957-1973 and 1980-1993 model years, all Dodge civilian full size 4x4s had a dead spindle, serviceable, individually replaceable, adjustable 4x4 front wheel hub and bearing design which would also accept fuel-saving hublocks. Effective with the 1994 model year, Dodge switched to a less expensive, unitized, non-serviceable, live spindle front 4x4 hub design that is incompatible with hub-mounted hublocks. Free-Spin Kits bring back the good old days by upgrading your axle back to the dead spindle/serviceable wheel bearing design and the ability to install hublocks.

Tech Note 4: Hublock Options
The only component difference between TK11253, TK11254, and TK11297 Kits is the lock out hubs. TK11253 includes TK56120 Warn Premium Hubs. TK11254 includes TK11258 heavy-duty Dynaloc™ Hubs. TK11297 comes with QU56112 Mile Marker Stainless Steel Hubs.

Tech Note 5: Optional Adapters fro DRW Trucks
If you have a Ram 3500 dually, your factory dual wheel hub adapters will have to be changed as they have insufficient clearance for the new lockout hubs included in our Kits. Order optional QU42073 Dual Wheel Adapter Set.

Tech Note 6: Optional Tools & Grease
I strongly recommend you also order QT1016i or QT1025 Spindle Nut Socket and QK4964 Tool and Lube Kit which has the extras you need for a pro-quality installation. All the components are also available separately. QK4964 includes:

Tech Note 7: Other Parts to Check 
To install TK11297 Kit, you need to remove the original hubs and axle shafts. Depending upon age, mileage, and use, your truck may also need axle shaft universal joints, inner axle shaft oil seals, ball joints, brake parts, or pinion seal. Inspect the axle before disassembly for worn or damaged parts and order those extra parts/tools you desire for a first class job.

Tech Note 9: Axle Shaft Seals 
Given the era of trucks these Kits fit, it is recommended you replace the inner axle seals which can become hard and brittle with age. For Inner Axle Shaft Seal Kits with oil seals and installation tools see QK4685.

Tech Note 10: First Time Disassembly 
The first time a 2010-2011 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 AAM 9-1/4" front axle has to comes apart, it is usually an absolute WITCH to separate the factory wheel hub assemblies from the steering knuckle as AAM did not use any anti-corrosion compound between the wheel hub flange and steering knuckle. The good news is since you are replacing the original hubs, you do not have to worry about them separating or getting damaged during the removal process.
