Description
QT1107 18" Axle Shaft Seal Installation Pull Rod Set for 1987.5-1996 Cherokee/Comanche (XJ) and 1987.5-1996 Wrangler (YJ) models with vacuum controlled Central Axle Disconnect (CAD). Rod is used to pull Front Axle Shaft Seals into place in conjunction with the appropriate Inner Axle Seal Installer and Axle End Plate. 1/2" diameter. Heat Treated Steel Rod is rated at 125,000 psi tensile strength. Includes American made, certified Grade 8 Hardened Nuts and Washers! Shaft and Hardware USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Durable Tool
We often get asked; "Why don't you just use regular all thread rod and hardware to save a few bucks? The answer is simple. Durability! If you are only going to use the tool once, the standard, soft, mild steel all thread rod would maybe work fine, or maybe not. But for repeated use, the friction between the installer and rod would quickly mash the threads on those cheap hardware store rods and your money would be gone. We make our tools to last. Using heat treated rod, and domestic, certified hardware, gives us the confidence to supply our QuadTools to anybody! From Shade-Tree-Mechanics to high production commercial or government users; and gives You the confidence you are going to do the job you need done.

Tech Note 3: Matching Parts
QT1107 ONLY works on 1987.5-1991 XJ or 1987.5-1996 YJ models with CAD. If you have a 1987 XJ, check the axle Bill of Material (BOM) number which is stamped on the front of the right axle tube next to the differential housing and also on a metal tag held on by the two farthest right differential cover bolts before ordering parts.
