Axle ID 1967-1969 GM Dana 44

All 1967-1969 Chevy and GMC factory 4x4 trucks used a Dana 44 front axle. The standard axle was a Dana 44 with 8 Bolt Knuckle Ball Seals. Starting in 1962, 3/4 ton trucks could be ordered with an optional Dana 44 Heavy Duty front axle with 12 Bolt Ball Seals. 1969 Blazers were built with open knuckle front axles.
