TK50253 1555 Series Front Axle Genuine AAM Factory Lubed U-Joint for Ram Fits Magna and AAM Front Axles. TK50253 is a factory lubed u-joint that fits 2010-2018 AAM 925 front axle shafts in the 2500/3500 series trucks and Magna front axles. Front Axle Applications include 2010-2019 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 4x4 front axle shafts. Includes inside lockup c-clips for axle applications.

Tech Note 1: Service
Most axle shaft universal joint service is done using makeshift tools and hammering on the parts until something gives. Axle Shafts and Axle universal joints are precise components that can be easily damaged by such slam-bang work. There is a better way to perform u-joint service using application specific press tooling and approved service procedures such as those illustrated in my four page, color illustrated, TSB4597 Dodge Truck AAM Front Axle Shaft Service Tech Bulletin. Tech Note 2: Removal
Due to the amount of force needed to press out big joints like these from the axle shaft yokes, it is very easy to compress the yoke ears enough to take a "set" that will make installing the snap rings difficult or impossible. This will not only increase your blood pressure, but it will also guarantee short part life if you do force the rings in. We see this problem over and over again, in fact more universal joints and axle yokes are wrecked by slam-bang methods of u-joint replacement than by any other cause. Moral of the story is: Use the right tools and service procedures or be prepared to pay the price.

Tech Note 3: Driveshaft U-Joint
For Axle shaft applications, TK50253 fits AAM axles that have a 3.702" distance between the inside of the yoke ears.
