QU40313GM Dana 44 & GM 10 Bolt Front Spindle for 1977.5-1991 Chevy, GMC full size 4x4s is a genuine original equipment replacement part for Blazer, Jimmy, K10, K15, K1500, V1500, K20, K25, K2500, V2500 4x4s with internally splined front wheel hubs. Kit includes Spindle, QK4734.5 spindle bearing (installed), QU40070 spindle thrust washer, QU40056 small spindle seal, and QU40071 large spindle seal. Extend the life of your classic GM 4x4 by replacing your worn or bent spindle while they are still available! Made in U.S.A., except seals are imported.

Tech Note 1: Wheel Bearings
Some early 1977 1/2 ton GM 4x4s with Dana 44 front axles used QU40593GM spindle that takes smaller inner wheel bearings. QU40313 spindle is made for QU50412 inner wheel bearing which has an inside diameter of 2.00". For the 1971-1977.5 1/2 ton spindle, see QU40593.
Tech Note 2: 1977.5-Earlier
Some early 1977 3/4 ton GM 4x4s with Dana 44 front axles may have had a wheel hub that used six 3/8" diameter bolts to secure the lockout hub or drive flange to the wheel hub. QU40313GM Spindle WILL NOT fit those early 1977 and prior 3/4 tons with the external mount hub! For the 1971-1977.5 3/4 ton spindle, see QU40323.
Tech Note 3: Before Installing
Before installing your new spindle, lube the bearing, seals, and thrust washer with QU90018 Pyroplex® grease. Also, apply some Anti-Seize Compound to the mating surfaces between the spindle and steering knuckle.
