Description

TMD75CD 1975-1976 Complete Dodge Factory Service Manual on CD for D100, W100, D200, W200, D300, W300, D500, D600, W600, D700, and D800 models is your source for complete service, maintenance, and overhaul information for your 1975 or 1976 Dodge truck. Our Chrysler authorized reproduction Factory Shop Manuals cover almost everything you may need to service on your big Dodge truck from alternator testing to wheel bearing replacement. Dodge Factory Manuals include hundreds of black and white illustrations, service procedures, torque specifications, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting charts. 1975-1976 Dodge Factory Shop Manual includes coverage of axles, body, brakes, clutch, drive shaft, engine, electrical, exhaust, frame, transfer case, transmission, steering, and suspension.

Get the details you need to know before tearing into your truck! The information on this CD is far superior to other makes of shop manuals because it has far more detail, more illustrations, more specifications, and is targeted to specific models and years. This CD is very affordable compared to the printed version and takes less space on your bookshelf, making it a great addition to your library! These are the CDs we use in our shop!

Tech Note 1: Please Note
Factory Shop Manuals are excellent and authoritative sources of information, but they are written by highly skilled tech teams for the professional automotive technician with good reading and comprehension skills. The service procedures often skip over small steps that the pro performs without even thinking about it. The illustrations are usually good, but lack fine detail that would help the first time or Do-It Yourself (DIY) mechanic. As an example, my TM1003 NV4500 Transmission Service Manual has 116 pages and over 400 color photographs plus very detailed rebuild and technical information to cover rebuilding a NV4500 5 Speed Manual Transmission. The Dodge Factory Service Manual coverage includes a few dozen line drawings spread over about 40 pages. On the other hand, the Dodge Factory Manual pages include transmission removal and installation information which my TM1003 does not.

Tech Note 2: 1975-1976 Changes
The 1975 was a big year for change for Dodge light-duty trucks. Externally, 1975-1976 trucks pretty much look the same as 1972-1974 vehicles, but several BIG changes occured for the 4x4 line. On the positive side, Disc Brakes became standard on all the W series 4x4s. For the 1 ton W300, an all new, tight-turning 4500 pound rated Dana 60 open knuckle axle replaced the closed knuckle Dana 70 previously used. Unfortunately those positives were more than cancelled out by the replacement of the rugged NP205 transfer case with the troublesome, fuel sucking NP203 full time case. Even worse for the W100 and W200 was the change from the tough and proven dead spindle Dana 44 front axle design to the poorly designed Dana 44 live spindle axle introduced in 1974 for the Ramcharger. The NP203 combined with the live spindle Dana 44 considerably shortened the life expectancy of the 1975-1976 4x4 Ramcharger, W100, and W200 to the point where stock models from these years were already relatively rare 10 years later.

Tech Note 3: Exploded Views
Factory Service Manuals generally do not list part numbers or show many Exploded Views. We will be adding the applicable Dan the Gear Man® Exploded Views below as they become available:
