QU40321U Good USED Small Spindle Axle Shaft Bushing (1-1/4” ID) for Dana Spicer Closed Knuckle Axles (available while supplies last) is a flanged Bronze Bushing that is found inside the spindles of Dana Spicer Model 25, Model 27, Model 30, and Model 44 closed knuckle front axles in 1941 to 1973 Jeeps and 1961 to 1971 International Scouts, QU40025 supports the outer axle shaft and controls axial thrust. Order 2 Bushings per vehicle.

Tech Note 1: Worn Bushings?
Both the inside diameter and thrust face of the Bushings are subject to wear. Replace any installed bushing that is a loose fit to the axle shaft, that has visible wear, or is not a press-fit in the spindle. Worn out Bushings will cause the axle shaft to hit the King Pins.

Tech Note 2: Before Installing
Pre-Lube the inside of the bushing with some clean grease before installing the spindle to provide initial lubrication.

Tech Note 3: Size
QU40321 has a nominal inside diameter of 1-1/4”.
