QU40030U Used Inner Pinion Cup Oil Baffle for Dana 60, 61, 70U Axles

QU40030U Used Inner Pinion Cup Oil Baffle for Dana 60, Dana 61, and Dana 70U Axles is a used genuine original equipment Dana Spicer replacement part. On selected axles (mostly Fords with reverse spiral pinions), this baffle fits between the 3-1/2" OD inner pinion bearing cup and the axle housing. Although this Baffle was primarily used on Model 60 axles, you will also find it on some Dana 61, Dana 70 Front, or Dana 70U series axles also. Available while supplies last.

Tech Note 1: Fits
QU40030U Used Inner Pinion Baffle fits some front and rear axle Dana Spicer Model 60, 61 or standard Model 70 applications. If your axle was originally built with this part, you have to replace it when doing bearing or gear service, as it has a lubrication function and is part of your pinion depth shim stack. Do not use an inner baffle in an application that did not originally have the part!!! (Also see QU50503 Inner Model 60 Pinion Slinger.)

Tech Note 2: Bearing Cups
Standard Model 70 axles were built with either QU50406 3.5" diameter bearing cups or QU50409 4.125" diameter cups. QU40030 only fits axles with 3.5" cups originally built with a baffle.
