QU20149U Used NP205 Transfer Case Shift Rail Interlock Rod

QU20149U Used NP205 Transfer Case Shift Rail Interlock Rod available while supplies last. This is a hardened steel pin with rounded ends that prevents shifting your NP205 transfer case output shafts into different ranges simultaneously. Two of these approximately 4" long rods are located in bores machined crossways in the main transfer case casting. Notches on your shift rails engage and disengage the Interlock Rods when you shift.

Tech Note 1: Remove
The shift rail Interlock Rods are the last parts removed from the transfer case during disassembly and the first ones installed during reassembly. To remove/install the Rods, you need to remove the two small soft plugs that seal the rod access holes which are located on the front output side of your transfer case.
