QU50755 11-1/2 AAM Rear Axle Complete Open Differential Assembly is a genuine AAM factory assembled original equipment conventional open (non-locking) differential for 2003 to 2018 Ram 2500 and 2003-2018 Ram 3500 trucks. QU50755 also fits 2001 and up GM and Chevy trucks with the American Axle Manufacturing AAM 11-1/2" ring gear rear axle.

Tech Note 1: Open Diffs
AAM 11-1/2" open differentials can be disassembled for cleaning and inspection. Disassembly does differ from most other axles because the cross shaft is held in by a hidden round snap ring that fits in grooves machined in the cross shaft and case. Most other diffs use either a bolt or roll pin.
