QU50155 Front Axle, Transmission, and Transfer Case Caged Needle Roller Bearing is used on a number of diverse 4x2 and 4x4 axle, transmission, and transfer case applications. Among other transmission applications, QU50155 GM 4x2 NV4500 Tailshaft Support Bearing gets pressed into the tailshaft housing on GM C-Series 4x2 NV4500 5 Speed Manual Transmissions with fixed rear output yoke. Some New Process NP208D Dodge Transfer Cases used 2 of these Bearings on the Input.

Tech Note 1: Pre-Lubricate
After installation, you must pre-lubricate QU50155 Bearing with petroleum jelly or other suitable lubricant to provide initial lubrication during startup.

Tech Note 2: Front Axle Applications
For front axle applications, one QU50155 is used at the outboard end of the left axle tube (drivers side) in some 1980's Jeep and Dodge Dana 44 axles with vacuum controlled Central Axle Disconnect (CAD). These vehicles include 1982-1984 Jeep full-size Wagoneer, Cherokee, and J10 2.72 or 3.31 ratio front axles with the CAD vacuum shifter motor installed on the differential cover AND 1985-1987 Dodge Ramcharger, W150, W250 plus Plymouth Trailduster with the CAD vacuum shift unit bolted to the top of the left axle tube. QU50155 is not used for the right axle shaft on any of these models.

Tech Note 3: Before Assembly
Coat the bearing rollers with petroleum jelly or other suitable lubricant before assembly.
