YHC80001 Yukon Replacement Lower King Pin Cap for Dana 60 4x4

YHC80001 Yukon Replacement Lower Kingpin Cap for 1975-1993 Dana 60 4x4 Front Axles is a replacement Lower King Pin Cap for 1977-1991 Chevy/GMC, 1975-1993 Dodge, 1976-1979 Ford, and 1985-1991 Ford Dana 60 or Dana 61 open knuckle, King Pin type front axles. YHC80001 is drilled and tapped for QU80066 grease fitting which is not included.

Tech Note 1: Greaseable King Pin 
YHC80001 is drilled and tapped for a 1/4" x 28tpi tapered grease fitting. The factory grease fitting was a 45 degree angled zerk (QU80066) which is best for most applications. If you do a lot of offroading, I recommend you swap out the angled fitting with QU50021 solid plug which is less likely to get broken off when you traverse rough terrain.

Tech Note 2: Bolt Torque
Torque the 4 retaining Bolts to 70-90 Lb. Ft. (95-122 Nm). (source: Spicer Axle Division publication)
