QU40831 Saginaw Greaseable CV Joint Head Assembly If your Saginaw Double Cardan CV joint is toast, but the rest of your shaft is in good condition, you can replace the whole CV end with this brand new CV Head Assembly made for 2" x 0.120" wall thickness tubing. Greaseable assembly includes a pressed in grease fitting to lube the CV socket and greaseable universal joints. Fits the original equipment Saginaw Double Cardan Front Constant Velocity Driveshafts used on 1977½ to 1991 full size square body style Chevy/GMC 4x4s and 1975½ to 1993 Dodge and Plymouth full size 4x4s. Assembled in U.S.A. using domestic and imported components.

Driveshaft fabrication can be done by any competent machinist, but best results are usually obtained from dedicated driveshaft specialists who can both assemble and balance the finished shaft.
