QU40753 6-7/8" X 1310 Greaseable Slip Yoke and Press On Seal

QU40753 1310 Series 16 Spline Greaseable Slip Yoke with Press On Seal is made to fit original equipment and aftermarket 1-3/8" diameter, 16 spline slip stubs on front or rear driveshafts. Exact length replacement for original equipment slip yokes on many Spicer built front CV driveshafts from 1969 to 1977 with screw on seals. This slip yoke is very common on rebuilt full size 4x4 SUV and light truck front Constant Velocity driveshafts, especially those on 1969 to 1991 Chevy/GMC or 1974 to 1993 Dodge models up to one ton size. Tech Note 1: Matching U-Joints
QU40753 Slip Yoke takes external snap ring type universal joints made to Spicer 1310 series dimensional specifications. The u-joint cup diameter is 1-1/16". The overall width is 3-7/32". For greaseable u-joints, see QU40769, for Torque King® u-joints, see TK40720. If you have a 1992 or older Dodge front CV shaft and your front axle still has the original pinion yoke, see QU40736 for a 7260x1310 conversion u-joint.

Tech Note 2: Product Note
QU40753 typically mates with 16 spline slip stubs that have 1.375" outside diameter partial length splines (spline length is usually 2.25"). The yoke measures 6-7/8" from the center of the u-joint hole to the end of the spline. For a Slip Stub for 2" front GM or Dodge CV shafts, see QU40740.

Tech Note 3: Install Press-On Seal First
Install the press-on seal BEFORE trying to install the Slip Yoke on the splined slip stub.

Tech Note 4: In Phase
The Slip Yoke and weld Yoke at the opposite end of the tube MUST be in phase (See TM3000 Driveshaft Manual).
