QU40743 CV Ball Replacement Kit fits most late 1960's to late 1980's domestic 4x4 front and rear driveshafts with Spicer-Type, greaseable CV Joints. This money saving Kit allows you to reuse the cast iron CV centering yoke. Kit includes CV Ball and socket with needle bearings, spring (under red shipping protector), and seal. USA Made.

Tech Note 1: CV Flange
If your CV Flange casting is OK, you can save money by replacing just the worn ball and seat with this Kit. Be advised you will need a 1"-1¼" blind hole bearing puller and a hydraulic press.

Tech Note 2: Tool
Installing this CV Kit can be challenging unless you have an install tool. A good, makeshift tool to use to press against the Socket. is your old, worn out socket without the ball.
