TK40584 Torque King® 35 Spline Rear Axle Shaft for Single Rear Wheel 1987-1990 Dodge DANA 70 Rear Axles is an extra strong, USA made, high performance axle shaft for 1987-1990 Dodge Ram 250 and 350 trucks with Dana-Spicer Model 70 SRW Rear Axles. Note: This shaft has straight bolt holes so your original split tapered bushings are not used. We recommend you replace the original Grade 5 Studs with our optional, high-strength QU40306 Grade 9 Flange Bolts.

Tech Note 1: SRW Axle Shaft
1987-1990 Dodge Dana 70 SRW Rear Axle Shafts have 1-1/2" 35 spline inner ends. Both left and right axle shafts are the same length on a given axle. Length is 34-1/4".

Tech Note 2: Wear
If your axle shaft splines are worn (a common occurrence), chances are the differential side gear splines are also worn. Installing a new axle shaft in worn gears will result in accelerated axle shaft spline wear which is not covered by our parts warranty. Replace worn differential side gears when replacing an axle shaft with visible spline wear!
