QU40518 Dana 60 Differential Pinion Mate Thrust Washer

QU40518 Dana 60 Differential Pinion Mate Thrust Washer is a genuine Dana-Spicer original equipment Thrust Washer that fits all Dana-Spicer Model 60 and Model 61 front or rear drive axles equipped with standard open differentials. For 2017-up Ford Super Duty, this thrust washer if for track lock differentials.  One of these Thrust Washers is installed between each of the two small pinion mate gears and the differential case in your Dana 60 or 61 axle. QU40520 Cross Shaft is used to hold the Pinion Mate Gears and Thrust Washers in place.

Tech Note 1: Coat Washers
Coat both sides of the thrust washers with clean grease or petroleum jelly before installation.

Tech Note 2: Ring Gear
Depending upon the gear ratio, you may need to remove the ring gear from the differential case in order to remove the cross shaft. Ring Gear Bolts can NOT be safely reused. See QU40086 for replacement bolts.
