Tech Note 1: Dial Indicator
When replacing differential bearings, you MUST check the ring gear to pinion gear backlash with a dial indicator. Rebearing service procedures and backlash specifications are covered in my TM4400 Pinion and Differential Bearing Service on Dana-Spicer Monobeam Axles.
