Tech Note 2: One Time Use!
QU40061 is an all metal, prevailing torque locking nut designed to be used once and then be discarded! Always install a new pinion nut for the final assembly of your axle after servicing the pinion bearings, seal, yoke, or gear set! May require 1-7/8" thin wall socket for some applications due to yoke clearances.
