Tech Note 1: 2021 Shifter Design Change
Late in the 2021 model year, Borg Warner changed the shift mechanism for 4447 transfer cases. To use the current production QU11884 8-Bolt Front Case on late 2021 and earlier 4447 Transfer Cases, you MUST also order the following components:
QU11914 Shift Lever
QU11915 Shift Cam
QU11916 E-Clip
Production Transfer Cases 05146622AI and 68322284AC or higher suffix levels will already have the updated parts.

Tech Note 2: 2012-2018
QU11884 Fits these 2012-2018 Era Chassis Cab Trucks RAM 3500 Diesel Pickups with All Factory Axle Ratios:
2012-2018 Ram 3500, Ram 4500, Ram 5500 with Cummins Diesel and Aisin AS69RC Automatic Transmission
2014-2018 Ram 3500, Ram 4500, Ram 5500 with 6.4L Hemi V8 and Aisin AS66RC Automatic Transmission

Tech Note 3: QU11884 2019-Current Fitment
A) 2019-Current Trucks with Cummins Diesel and either 4.10 or 4.44 Factory Axle Ratios
B) 2019-Current Ram 3500, Ram 4500, Ram 5500 with 6.4L Hemi V8 and Aisin AS66RC Automatic Transmission
C) 2019-Up RAM 3500 Single Rear Wheel PICKUP with the Cummins High-Output Diesel Engine
NOTE: QU11884 does NOT fit 2019-up Ram trucks with 4.88 ratio rear axles or RAM 3500 Cummins High Output DRW Pickups. These trucks have BW4449 transfer cases.

Tech Note 4: Do I Have a BW4447 or BW4449 Transfer Case in my Chassis Cab?
Starting in 2019, RAM used two similar looking but different 70mm Input Bearing, 8-Bolt Mounting, manual shift Borg Warner transfer cases in RAM 3500, RAM 4500 and RAM 5500 chassis cab 4x4 trucks. RAM parts listings show both types as 44-46 models, however, RAM factory Service Manuals show them as 44-46 and 44-48. QU11884 only fits the 44-46 8 Bolt applications which are found in 2019-up RAM 3500/4500/5500 Cummins Diesel Chassis Cab trucks with either 4.10 or 4.44 axle ratios and the same chassis cab models with the 6.4L Hemi gas engine and any axle ratio.

Tech Note 5: 2019-up Cummins High Output DRW Pickup
2019 and newer RAM 3500 Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) PICKUPS with the Cummins High Output Diesel Engine and manual shift transfer case have a BW4448 transfer case with 8 bolt mounting. 2019-up RAM 3500 4x4 Pickups equipped with the High Output Cummins Engine AND Single Rear Wheel use a BW4446 with 8-Bolt Mounting. All other 2019-up RAM 2500, RAM 3500 4x4 PICKUPS with either gas engines or the standard Cummins Diesel and an electric shift transfer case use a 6-bolt mounting BW4446.
