Tech Note 2: Works on Open and Closed Knuckle Axles
These Kits work on both closed knuckle axle (enclosed axle u-joint and QU42187 8 bolt knuckle seals) and open knuckle (exposed axle u-joint) configurations use these Kits. The axle fitments are:
1966-1969.5 Bronco Dana 30 Axle
1959-1965 F100 closed knuckle Dana 44
1966-1969.5 F100 open knuckle Dana 44
1959-1969.5 F-250 closed knuckle Dana 44

Tech Note 3: Fits
This Kit fits 1959 to 1969.5 Ford F100 and F250 4x4 trucks with the standard Dana 44 front axles plus 1966-1969.5 Broncos. These axles will all have internally splined wheel hubs.

Tech Note 4: 1969 Seal/Hub Design Change
Ford made a front seal/hub design change midway through the 1969 model year. The 1969.5 hub uses 3.3" diameter QU90001 Seal instead of 3.25" diameter QU50654 Seal. My 1964-1972 Ford Parts Book has the 1969 seal part number break point listed differently in the hub (to serial number F70000) and axle parts (to serial number F30000) sections. I believe the hub section is correct, but if your 1969 4x4 has a VIN between F30000 and F70001, you should physically verify which seal you need. The Break point is determined by the 1969 Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
