Description
TK11255 Dynatrac CR60-3X1104-K Free-Spin™ with Warn® Premium Bronze Dial Lock Out Hubs Kit for 2012-2018 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 fits 2012-2018 AAM 9-1/4" Front Drive Axles in Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 trucks with single rear wheels. TK11255, Kit includes the conversion parts and your choice of fuel-saving lockout hubs to upgrade your heavy-duty Ram 4x4's front axle. Each Kit includes a complete, USA made Dynatrac Front Free-Spin™ Hub Kit with heat-treated chromoly spindles, spindle bearings, spindle seals, Timken® wheel bearings, Timken® or Dana wheel seals, 35-spline 1.50-inch chromoly outer shafts, 8 bolt wheel hubs, your choice of Hub Locks, double spindle nut kit, and instructions. This is a direct fit for single rear wheel trucks. Will also fit dually models with optional wheel adapters, see Tech Note 2 if you have a Ram 3500 with Dual Rear Wheels (DRW). Tech Note 3: Kit Differences
The only component difference between TK11255, TK11256, and TK11298 Kits is the lock out hubs. TK11255 includes TK56120 Warn Premium Hubs. TK11256 includes TK11258 heavy-duty Dynaloc™ Hubs. TK11298 comes with QU56112 Mile Marker Stainless Steel Hubs.
Tech Note 4: Ram 3500 Dually
If you have a Ram 3500 dually, your factory dual wheel hub adapters will have to be changed as they have insufficient clearance for the new lockout hubs included in our Kits. Order optional QU42073 Dual Wheel Adapter Set.
Tech Note 5: Front Wheel Center Holes
To allow clearance for your new wheel hubs, your front wheels must have center holes that are at least 4-1/4" in diameter.
Tech Note 6: Disassembly/Assembly
To install TK11255, TK11256, or TK11298 Kits, you need to remove the original hubs and axle shafts. Depending upon age, mileage, and use, your truck may also need axle shaft universal joints, inner axle shaft oil seals, ball joints, brake parts, or pinion seal. Inspect the axle before disassembly for worn or damaged parts and order those extra parts/tools you desire for a first class job.
Tech Note 7: Recommended Extras
I strongly recommend you also order QT1016i Spindle Nut Socket and QK4964 Tool and Lube Kit which has the extras you need for a pro-quality installation. All the components are also available separately.

Tech Note 8: Ball Joints
We also stock TK42058 Dynatrac, Heavy-Duty greaseable/rebuildable Ball Joints and TK11266 Carli Extreme Duty greaseable Ball Joints for 2012 and early 2013 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 with the 4 trailing arm type front suspension. Later 2013, and 2014-up with radius arm front axle suspension use different ball joints.
Tech Note 9: Inner Axle Seals
For high mileage trucks, I recommended you replace the inner axle seals at the same time you install your new Free-Spin™ Kit. For Inner Axle Shaft Seal Kits with oil seals and installation tools see QK4685.
Tech Note 10: Front Axle Disassembly
Unless it is less than 1 year old, the first time a 2012-2018 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 AAM 9-1/4" front axle has to comes apart, it is usually an absolute WITCH to separate the factory wheel hub assemblies from the steering knuckle as AAM did not use any anti-corrosion compound between the wheel hub flange and steering knuckle. The good news is since you are replacing the original hubs, you do not have to worry about them separating or getting damaged during the removal process.
