The Syracuse, New York built, New Process NP205 part time, gear drive transfer cases were original equipment in many 1969-1991 Chevy/GMC, 1969-1993 Dodge, 1974-1979 Ford, and 1969-1974 International 4x4 vehicles.
Tech Note 2: Features
The New Process NP205 Transfer Case was the last all gear drive transfer case offered by U.S. vehicle manufacturers for one ton and lighter 4x4 trucks. good manual
I purchased this manual to help me rebuild a np 205 T-case. I haven't rebuilt my unit yet but have looked at this manual and believe this is going to help me a lot.

Detailed
Contains the proper procedure for disassembly and assembly. Includes setting up idler shaft the proper way. Specs for lengths of bolts and torque all included. Takes out some of the guess work. Internet seems to be full of misinformation. Used it to assist my rebuild and a friends.

Manual and rebuild kit review
The instruction, and parts description and list manual made it easy for anyone to rebuild their 205. Also the torque king rebuild kit was perfect. I would highly recommend!

I ordered the manual for a np 205 transfer case. It came quickly and was exactly what I needed. Full-color pictures and several pro tips helped immensely. Will check back in the future for any technical manuals I need.

I am still cleaning up my parts yet, but I am sure that the book is going to be very useful. I wish that I had it when I took it apart. it would have come in handy. The pictures will be helpful. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of rebuilding a transfer case.
