Differential Bearings and Bearing Cups specific to 1961-1971 Dana 27 Dana 27AF Front Axles are Listed Below. The 1961 IHC Scout was the first production 4x4 to use the new Dana 27F front axle when it was introduced in 1960 as a 1961 model year vehicle. In early 1961, effective with Serial Number FC15544, International switched to the Dana 27AF which uses different outer pinion bearings.
NOTE: In Factory Parts Books, International named Both the Model 27F and Model 27AF axles FA-14 for open differential axles and FA-24 for axles with limited slip differentials.
