The Dodge 9-1/4" Rear Axle is a semi-floating type in which the differential and a single straight roller bearing support each axle shaft. While most 9-1/4" rear axles use the same wheel bearing from 1974 through 2007, there was a heavy duty option using a larger Wheel Bearing available on some full size pickups and 3/4 ton vans from 1986 to 2003 so if you have a vehicle built during those years, you have to verify which parts you need before ordering.
