The wheel hub used on 1956-1968 IHC 1/2 ton and 1956-1972 3/4 ton 4x4s with Dana 44 closed knuckle front axles have wheel hubs that are drilled and tapped on it's outboard face in order to bolt on either an external mount solid drive flange or hub lock. 1969-up IHC 1/2 ton axles all used the internal spline type wheel hub.
