Over the years, GM has used three different axle shaft flange gaskets and a number of different drum and disc brake wheel hubs. Wheel Hubs have never been a big seller because they generally last for the life of the truck unless you toast your wheel bearings. Axle shaft gaskets are a nonreusable item that must be replaces any time an axle shaft is removed. The GM 14 Bolt Full Floating Rear Axle Hub is designed so the outer wheel bearing and cup and Retaining Snap Ring are installed from the BACKSIDE of of the hub before the inner wheel bearing components are assembled.
We stock original equipment type Wheel Seals and Timken® Rear Wheel Bearings for your Chevy or GMC 14 Bolt full float rear axle. All years and models use the same wheel bearings for both single rear wheel and dual rear wheel trucks up through 2010, but with a difference in wheel seals depending upon the year. 2011 and newer C and K series trucks will usually have different rear wheel bearings.
Replace those pitted, worn out rear wheel bearings on your Chevy or GMC 3/4 or 1 Ton truck with the 14 bolt full-float rear axle. The rear wheel bearings in GM 14 Bolt axles average about 125, 000 miles before requiring replacement. Torque King® Premium Rear Wheel Bearing and Seal Kits for your Chevy or GMC truck feature premium Timken® bearings and original equipment quality wheel seals because when it comes to rear wheel bearings and seals, only the best will do to safely support the heavy loads your truck hauls. To help you install these vital components properly, optional bearing cup and wheel seal installers are available. Why use makeshift installation methods that can damage precision surfaces when affordable tools are available to do the job right the first time?
