Shop Now for 1992-2007 GM New Venture NV4500 5 Speed Transmission Cases and Housings.
New Venture made a number of different 4500 main cases for General Motors and Chrysler. All are made of cast iron and have both left and right PTO covers. Dodge and GM 4x4 tailhousings have the same rear bolt circle, but the hole clocking and housing lengths are considerably different. For 4x2 applications, GM used a fixed output while Dodge 4x2 models have a long, slip type rear output. For a NV4500 conversion into a 4x4 with a remote mount transfer case, the compact, GM C-Truck 4x2 aluminum housings are the best choice for most conversions.
