For the 1998 to 2002 model years, New Process built NP241DLD Transfer Cases with two different, non-interchangeable Input Bearing widths. 1998 and most 1999 transfer cases use the narrow bearing (5/8"). These cases can be identified by the all numeric, 8 digit assembly number (ex: 52105024). 1999 cases which have a ten digit, alpha-numeric assembly number (ex: 52105024AB) and ALL 2000-2002 NP241DLD transfer cases use the wide bearing (15/16").
