Make ball joint removal and reinstallation easy with the optional TS1065 Ball Joint Press Set! Unlike older trucks, the ball joints are pressed into the axle itself, not the steering knuckle, so you can't use a shop press like the 94-99 trucks. I Strongly recommend you have the Press and Tooling tools when removing your old ball joints and pressing the new ones in, it can be a REAL WITCH on 2000-2002 trucks without it!
