Well over a dozen different axle shafts were used for 1999-2010 era Ford Dana 80 Rear Axles. Having the Bill of Material Number (BOM) from the axle tag helps identify your axle, but if the BOM is not available, we can usually ID an axle by length, flange bolt pattern, and spline size. Axle shafts for 1999-2004 34" wide frame chassis cab trucks will usually be the same left and right, but most other applications will have different length left and right axle shafts.
