Dana Spicer Model 53 semi-floating rear axles with tapered axle shafts have a 9-1/4" ring gear and are unique to Jeep. The diff pan cover measures 10-5/16" x 10-13/16" and it is somewhat round with flat edges for the vertical sides. The Dana 53 was used in Single Rear Wheel FC170 trucks.
