QU50448 Timken Differential/Wheel Bearing

QU50448 Timken® Tapered Roller Bearing is used for many different applications including wheel bearings, differential side bearings, and transmission bearings but the most common 4x4 application would be as an inner or outer front wheel bearing cup on many 1959 to 1996 4x4 front drive axles with serviceable wheel hubs. This is a First Class, original equipment quality bearing that meets or exceeds all vehicle manufacturer specifications making it the top choice for heavy-duty applications like yours. Country of origin may vary as Timken produces Bearings in plants located around the globe, however, QU50448 is almost always made in either Canada or the United States.

Tech Note 1: Matching Cups
Always replace the cup and cone at the same time. The matching Bearing Cup for most wheel bearing applications is QU50447. The matching Bearing Cup for most differential side bearing applications is QU50653. There is also a high performance version of this Timken Bearing used as the countershaft rear bearing in New Venture NV4500 5 speed manual transmissions, see QU10144.
