Tech Note 1: Axle Shaft Parts
When replacing the factory Auto Hub with Manual Hubs, the factory Axle Shaft Thrust Washers and Snap Rings located on the outer axle shafts at the end of the spindles are reused.

Tech Note 2: Spindle Nuts
For the 1990-1997 Ford Ranger and 1990-1994 Explorer, replacing the factory Auto Hubs also requires changing the spindle nuts. Order (2) QA4769 Spindle Nut Kits separately.
