QU50543 1-7/8" ID Output Seal for Ford NP205 Transfer Cases

QU50543 1-7/8" ID Output Seal for Ford NP205 Transfer Cases fits either the front or rear output of NP205 transfer cases in Ford trucks that have 1-7/8" output yoke hub diameters. Mostly used on Fords with QU50619 1310 series or QU40399 1330 series CV output yokes. Ford used as a single seal, but there is enough width in the bearing retainer to install 2 of these seals for maximum oil retention. Seal sold individually.

Tech Note 1: Before Installing
Lubricate the Seal Lip with clean grease or petroleum jelly before installing the yoke to provide initial lubrication.

Tech Note 2: Two Seals
The Ford NP205 seal retainers are deep enough for two seals. I like to run two of these seals for each yoke to minimize the chances of an oil leak.

Tech Note 3: Verify Size
Ford used output yokes with both 1-7/8" and 2-1/8" ground hub diameters. Verify what size seal you need BEFORE you place your order. The outside diameter is the same for both seal types. If you need 2-1/8" ID Seals, see TK50123 and TK50092.

Tech Note 4: Color or appearance
This seal may be sourced from different vendors and as such may vary in color or appearance but the function will not be effected.
