This Kit includes (1) QU40727 X Pinion Yoke without Slinger, (1) QU40097 Shallow Shell  Pinion Seal (See Note 1!), (1) QU40402 2nd Design Pinion Seal, (1) QU40397 Pinion Wiper V-Seal, (1) QU40709 Strap & Bolt Kit, (1) QU10918 Pinion Nut/Washer, and (1) S9978 Threadlocker.

Tech Note 1: 2000-2002 Shallow Shell Seal Substitution
QU40348 shallow seal for 2000-2001 is out of production and no longer available. We are using QU40097 as the replacement pinion oil seal for QU40348. QU40097 is specific to 1999 and older axles that do not use QU40397 Wiper Seal so do not install your old slinger on the new yoke. QU40097 has the correct ID, OD and shell depth, but it is not compatible with the wiper seal or flat slinger. The shallow shell seal was used on 2000 model year axles plus with these 2001 axle tag numbers:
Model 60 Rear Axles: 2000 and Some 2001 (2001 Tag Numbers: 606239, 606240, 606264, 606265, 606541, 6006542)
Model 70 Rear Axles: Some 2000 and 2001 (Tag Numbers: 606241, 606242, 606249, 606250, 606543, 606544)

Tech Note 2: Flat 2000-2002 Slinger NLA
2000-2002 Model 60/70 flat pinion slingers are no longer available, so you need to reuse your old one if your axle uses the deep shell seal.
