TKA2159 Torque King® Premium Large Bore Ball Bearing Kit for 1973-1993 Direct Mount New Process NP205 Transfer Cases with 29, 31, or 32 Spline input shafts. Kit features high quality, long-lasting North American Made Ball Bearings and includes two TK50105 Output Bearings, plus the correct Input Bearing for your specific NP205 application. All Bearings include a Snap Ring factory installed in the outer race groove. USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Type of Input Shaft Ball Bearing
The Front and Rear Output Ball Bearings on all NP205 Transfer Cases are the same. There are 3 different Input Shaft Ball Bearings used on the various NP205 models. Remote Mount (Divorced) Transfer Cases use the same Deep Groove Type Ball Bearings Bearings as the output shafts. Deep Groove Bearings can handle both combined radial/thrust loads for power transfer plus additional thrust loads from driveshaft articulation. All direct mount NP205 models were designed to use Maximum Capacity Input Bearings which can handle high input torque loads and speeds. Max Capacity Bearings have shallow groove races so TK50119 MUST NOT be used for output or remote input applications even though it has the same ID/OD as TK50105.
Tech Note 2: Snap Rings
The Outside Diameter of the Snap Rings included with our Torque King Ball Bearings is slightly larger than the OD of the original snap rings used by New Process. Consequently, these Rings have greater contact with the case and are much less prone to wear into the case or slip down into the oversize lead-in taper found on some of the case bearing bores.
