QU11095 Premium Pinion Seal for 2000-2007 Dodge 9.25" Rear Axles

QU11095 2000-2007 Dodge 9.25" Premium Quality Rear Axle Pinion Seal is a premium, original equipment spec, triple lip design for Chrysler Dodge 9-1/4" Rear Axles in 2000 to 2007 Dodge SUVs, pickups, and vans up to light duty 3/4 ton models. Flanged shell design prevents seal from being set too deep in your axle housing, plus, there is a bead of factory applied case sealant sealant that prevents oil leakage between the seal shell and housing bore. The high dirt exclusion, triple lip design has an outer lip that contacts the pinion slinger to deflect road debris, a middle barrier lip, and a spring loaded inner helix type lip for sealing Extreme Pressure (EP) rated conventional and synthetic gear oils. Seal Lip is pre-greased at the factory to provide initial lubrication. USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Lubricate
Both the seal lip and pinion yoke hub must be lubricated with clean grease before final assembly.

Tech Note 2: Nut/Crush Sleeve
Always install a new pinion nut and crush sleeve when replacing a pinion seal.

Tech Note 3: Inspect for Wear or Damage
Inspect your pinion flange hub for wear or damage in the area where the seal rides. Replace any any flange that has significant grooving or other conditions that could wreck or prematurely wear your new seal.
