Tech Note 1: Direction
Install Seal so Rubber coated face of seal marked OUTSIDE is toward the output yoke.

Tech Note 2: Before Installing
Apply a film of clean grease to the seal lip and yoke hub before installing the yoke to provide initial lubrication.
